Holiday Box Office Collections: Earns 41 cr in 3 Days

Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer movie ‘Holiday–A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’, has got very good response from crowed and has also managed to earn almost 41 crores at the Box Office in its first weekend.

After collecting 41 Crores, Holiday become the fourth biggest opener of the year after 2 States, Gunday and Jai Ho. At the same time, Holiday has surpassed the lifetime collections of Amitabh Bachchan’s Bhoothnath Returns, which lifetime collection was 37.50 cores.

The film Holiday is a remake of Tamil blockbuster “Thuppakki” and in Holiday Akshay has reprising Tamil star Vijay’s role. Akshay plays the role of an Army officer in Holiday and lost weight to look 12 years younger. Holiday was released on 6th  June in around 3,500 screens.

1st Day collections: 12.18 Cr
2nd Day collections: 12.30 Cr
3rd Day collections: 15.55 Cr

From the daily reports, we can see that the collections are increasing day by day. The movie is doing very well as compared to Akshay Kumar’s last movie Boss. There were lots of expectations from this movie and we can it is just a average start.
