Most of you know that yesterday, Apple unveils two most awaited smartphones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The Apple iPhone 6 features a 4.7 IPS display (1334 x 750) while iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch display (1920 x 1080).
Key Specs of Apple iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 starts at $199 with 16 GB of storage, $299 for 64 GB, and $399 for 128 GB with two year contacts in US.
We have already mentioned above that the iPhone 6 is just 6.9mm thin, and the iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1mm.
iPhone 6 will be available in 3 colors- Gold, silver and space grey.
iPhone 6 will have 10 days of standby time and up to 10 hours of LTE web browsing battery life.
The larger 6 Plus promises 16 days of standby time, and 12 hours of continuous LTE web browsing.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus both runs on All new A8 processor, which is 13% smaller than the A7. When we compared with iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have 25% faster CPU performance and up to 50% faster graphics performance.
Both models have 8 MP iSight camera sporting a f/2.2 aperture. The sensors of new phones are slightly larger than the sensor in the iPhone 5S and so are the pixels. The front camera which is 2.1 MP, also enjoys new features including burst mode and single shot HRD mode. HDR video recording is also available via the front camera.
Both gadgets iPhone 6 and 6 plus will start shipping from September 19, and pre-orders begin this Friday. At first, the gadgets will be available only in 8 coutries.
Apple also unveiled long-rumored Apple Watch, a new mobile payments platform called Apple Pay along with the two new iPhones. Apple Pay works with the works with the new iPhones and the Apple Watch.
